Timber Ridge Resort is perched on the top of a hill overlooking the Village and the Town of Mammoth Lakes. The property has 180 degree views of the Owens Valley and the Eastern Sierra. It is located just 1.5 miles from the Village and is “above” the lifts. The road dead-ends at the Resort and the property is surrounded by woods. During the summer months, you can access single track mountain bike and hiking trails from the back of the property. During the winter, this area is groomed for ski in ski out access to Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. The “North” trail takes you down to the Canyon Lodge lifts and the “South” trail takes you down to the Eagle Express Lift. Intermediate skiing ability is required to use the ski in ski out trails.

For 101 Great Escapes Guests Only! – Beginner skiers can take advantage of complementary transportation from Timber Ridge Resort to the Ski Area for lessons while the rest of the group can enjoy the convenience of great ski access without the necessity of first driving their friends or family to one of the Lodges below. This service is only available to guests who book through 101 Great Escapes and it not available when it is snowing. For the 2021 – 2022 season, transportation is only available TO the lifts, but is not available coming back from the lifts at the end of the day due to the airport being moved to Bishop.

Timber Ridge Resort is the highest elevation condo property in Mammoth at 8650’ above sea level. Driving to the Resort during a snow storm requires either a 4×4 or a vehicle with chains.

If you are looking for a true mountain getaway, this is the place for you. Every room at the Resort has a fantastic view, a balcony with a barbecue, and a garage. Other amenities include a centrally located spa, sauna, universal gym, and a laundry room. There is also a seasonal pool with fantastic views of the Owen’s Valley and the White Mountains. The pool is generally open during the summer months.
