Today we cross the 3000 mile mark on our trip. We’re taking a short day today to Bob’s Resort on the Missouri River (sounded like the thing to do). The trip was quick as we finally got a little help from a tail wind. You can tell were getting further east. The fields of alfalfa have turned to corn. I wanted to find someone to take me skiing on the river but just found fishermen. Alas, dinner at Bob’s Steakhouse awaits us…And watching the movie Fargo. The steak was enormous and quite good, but the service is the worst. There is no cell service and imaginary wifi.

This was the only really poor choice we made on our trip so far. This place was a pit. Should be called Bob’s Resort. Where Bad Service is Served Up Daily. Rude people throughout!
