Back on the bikes and headed along the Rogue River onto the Umpqua Rogue Scenic Byway. Our original plan was to make it to Crater Lake today, but we decided yesterday to stop at Union Creek before going to Crater Lake. We got to Union Creek so early that we tried to cancel the room and continue on. Of course, they would not allow it, so we stayed. We walked up to the beginning of the Rogue Gorge where the water pours from the ground under Crater Lake, then worked on adding content to this website.
Another slice of life in a cute little cabin. Plus there was Beckies, who’s pies were reported to be out of this world. Alas, they overstated, but the burgers were wonderful.
